George Westmore started of the westmore legacy after being discharged from the army he moved from England to Canada then worked in beauty parlours around america he later retired in Los Angeles were in 1917 he went on to set up the very first makeup department also specialising in wig making.
George westmore had 6 children perc,bud,wally,ern,monte and frank all following in there fathers footsteps, all having careers in makeup some more than others

Michael westmore, monte westmores son also carried on with the westmore tradition and became a makeup artist winning countless awards and working on big hollywood sets
