The colour theory is a guideline for the mixing of colours and showing you the different categories of colours there are.

The colour wheel show the relationship between colours like primary and secondary colours  





Achromatic:
achromatic is a the colours only consisting of white black and grey

Analogous:

analogous are colours that are beside each other on the colour wheel

monochromatic:

monochromatic consist of one colour in different shades and tones 

Neutral:

Neural colours are known as earth tones so your blacks, greys, browns, creams, whites and beige
