The Great Gatsby falls under the genre of both romance and drama.
The film is iconic mostly because the novel was iconic in its own right but also because the infamous era it was based on, The 20's was remembered for its fashion make up and hairstyles.
This film imitates society at the time in the 1920's, you can automatically recognize the era this movie is based on because of the foux bob hairstyles and the flapper girl outfits.
The lead hair designer in this movie was Kerry warn.
The lead makeup was done by maurizio silvi and the costume designer Catherine martine used existing Prada outfits
